Thankful.........

It's November and we all find time to share how thankful we are. I haven't been following the challenge on FB but that doesn't mean I'm not Thankful. I'm extremely thankful for what God has given me. For those who closely know me, know that I was in a ruff situation in the past. I'm thankful for the decision I made almost 2 years ago to better my life and my children's as well. It's been a ruff year and a half and it's still going to be a rocky journey but I'm still very thankful that I was strong enough to get out of a bad place. God gave me two great parents that have loved me no matter what (flaws and all). I have no clue where I would be without their love/support/friendship. I also have some of the best friends a girl could ask for. People who love me for me (and all my quirky ways). I've also be given the chance to fall head over heels in love with a guy who loves/supports me and every decision I have/need to make. He is my best friend and I really don't know how lucky I got to have him come into my life and my kids. He loves my kids like they are his own and to see him, H, D & M all interact warms my heart so much. It's to the point now that when I pick the kids up they IMMEDIATELY ask for him and where he's at or is going to be home when they get there. Yep, Mom doesn't matter anymore, LOL. Speaking of H, D & M, words can NEVER express how truly THANKFUL I am to God for choosing me to be their Mommy. They've blessed my life in ways I never, ever could imagine. They are my heart and soul and I'll love them forever and always. I've got an amazing family, friends and support group. I'm just truly thankful to have the life I have right now.

Another long overdue post

Yep, I officially suck at updating this blog. Well there is always something new in my life. Work is crazy busy. I'm back at Indian head and I'm loving my 20 minute commute to work. Harley started 1st grade and Derek started Kindergarten. Ugh, I hate that my kiddos are growing up. I took another part time job. Christmas is coming up and that means presents for not just one kid but three and their list are a little expensive.
Their father and I are not seeing eye to eye on our current custody arrangement so I've got that I'm dealing with. I think things are finally starting to take it's toll on the kids and I have seen a big dip in their attitudes. Not liking that one bit.
The guy that I've been seeing off and on since last October, we finally sat down and decided that this relationship was worth a real try. The kids love him and he loves them right back. What's awesome is that his family is very excepting of me and the kids and that has been such a relief to me.
My BFF just got married this past weekend. It was a beautiful wedding that I was honored to be apart of. Harley was the flower girl, Derek was the ring bearer and Melissa handed out the programs.

Another overdue blog.........

I'm really horrible with this blog thing. We've just been so busy, it's unreal. I feel like I'm constantly on the go ALL THE TIME. The kids are all doing great. Except with their allergies b/c of the horrible pollen. Derek turned 5 on Feb 15th and Melissa turned 3 on Feb 19th. Time really needs to slow down, it's going by way too fast. I've got a ton of pictures so I'll recap with those.....

These 3 cuties were my valentines date this year. Couldn't of asked for anything better. (This day also marked a year of me moving on with my life and getting stronger for myself and my kids. It's been a hard year but definitely worth every second.)

Harley and Mommy

Looking so cute in her outfit for school

Ohhhhh boyyyyy were these two in trouble!!! They managed to color themselves in a matter of 5 minutes! I can laugh now, but at the time, it wasn't so funny

When it's nice outside, this is where we are at!

My little helper

Me and my 6 year old. I can't believe how grown up she looks here, CRAZY

This little girl keeps us all laughing! She's definitely got my attitude as well. Love her to pieces

Harley is starting to really become a Mommy's girl. When's she at my house she is either with me at all times or my room mate Kristin. She loves to be doing whatever we are. She is changing all the time including her sassy mouth. UGH, I wish this phase would hurry up and just be OVER.

I went in the girls room to check on them before I went to bed, this is how I found them. Too cute

Gosh I love him. He is so energetic he wears me out though! LOL well they all wear me out

He's gotten so affectionate here lately. I LOVE IT!!! Usually I'm the one who has to ask/beg/steal for the hugs and kisses.

He really is so dag on cute/handsome.

NEW INK :-) I've been waiting for 3 years to get my latest tattoo. I knew I wanted my kids names, I've just been going back and forth as what to get. Their initials are H, D, M (Harley-Davidson Motorcycles) so I knew I wanted the Harley shield. I just wanted to make it girly. I LOVE IT. It's definitely my favorite tattoo now (I've got 5, eek)

No matter how hard life is, no matter what is going on in my life, these 3 kids are my SAVING GRACE, my SANITY!!!!
Now a day's life is crazy/hectic/busy/fun/exciting/D. All of the above. But I'm truly thankful for my 3 blessings from God.
