Bradley OsGood "aka: Boomer"

I got some very sad news this morning. My good friend Erin Graves (used to be Erin Jo Rye) called to tell me that my old show horse Bradley OsGood, aka Boomer, had passed away sometime late last night / early this morning. Earlier this year we had lost the first horse we had ever owned. 2010 just hasn't been a good year for horses.
Boomer and I had shared a bond like no other! I could do so much with this horse. He truly was amazing. Whenever he walked into the barn, you knew it because he had a distinct walk. Boomer would always nicker to you when you came into the barn too!!!! He was just a happy boy. His all time favorite treats were Ring Pops!!!!! He LOVED THEM. He also liked peppermints, the hard life savers candy, pepperoni pizza and Doritos!! It seemed like whatever I was eating; Boomer was begging to have some too!!! Boomer and I really did well in the Quarter Horse world. We won everything that was in my age division. It came time to step up to another horse so I had to sell Boomer. If we could of afforded it at the time, Boomer would of never left The Hancock Family! My mom’s best friend Judy Rye and her daughter Erin have always loved Boomer and when the opportunity presented itself, Erin purchased him. I was overjoyed b/c I knew that he would be taken care of and that I would have all the access to him I wanted!!!!
R.I.P Boomer!!!!! I’m going to miss you boy!!!!! You are and will always be my #1 Favorite Horse and no other horse could ever replace you!!!!!

More Pictures

Sorry I didn't post yesterday like I promised too! I ended up working from home which proved to be a bit of a challenge! With all 3 kids trying to get my attention and keep my attention away from my laptop, it was harder then I thought! So I'm back at the office today, UGH! I left my house at 5:30am and didn't get here at the WNY until 7:15!!!! Traffic was HORRIBLE!!!!

I really HATE making this drive everyday. It's really starting to get to me. I've been looking for other positions elsewhere but nothing is panning out! There has to be a breaking point soon!!!!! The different attitudes in my office are REALLY starting to give me whip lash! For those of you who are Government Contractor's please don't feel affended by what I'm about to say! In my office, the "big boss", has decided to OVER RUN our office with Contractor Administrative Support! There are more contractor's then there are civilian employee's!!!! The problem with our contractor's is that the "big boss" isn't hiring QUALIFIED personnel, he's hiring people he knows from bowling to put on our staff or people he's met out at the golf course that's looking for a job! I've been in this office for 3 years and I've never seen the office in this bad of shape. Nobody wants to help one another! They all think they are TOP DOG and can do it better than anyone else! Not to mention that the "big boss" has gone and hired my sister as a government contractor to fill in my old position!!!! Do you know how HARD it is to work with your sister!!!! The only good thing going for us is we DO NOT LOOK ALIKE and we have two totally different types of personalities!

I'm sorry I guess I'm just on my soap box this morning!!!! But I know that in order to save whatever sanity I have left, I need to find another job and soon!!!!! Well I've got more pictures to leave you with from our photoshoot with Mandi! Oh if you haven't already, check my last post, there's more pics on there too!!!!
