Weekend Recap

Oh boy where do I start! This weekend was BUSY. Josh and I didn't even get a chance to sit and relax. Friday was my day off, so I took the kids to the pool. That turned out to be an interesting time but whatever. All I have to say is some people in this world feed off of making the lives of other's miserable. Friday night Josh's parents had Harley and Derek so J and I only had Melissa! It was a nice quiet evening spent in his garage, J working on his bike while Melissa and I watched on and fed the dog her treats.

Saturday Melissa and I went with J to a side job he had lined up. He only thought it was going to be for two hours. Yeah, it was an all day event so to kill some time, I took his truck and Melissa and I went to the Farmer's Market. I haven't been there in about 5 years, and it'll probably be that long if not longer before I go back. Then Melissa and I went and grabbed some lunch and took it back to J! I was never so glad when he finished his side job (I was BORED out of my mind but J was happy that we went with him), we stopped by some good friend's of our's house so that J could cut down a tree for him. J had the tree down in like 25 minutes, so we sat and bs'd with Pam and Charles and their kids for like 20 minutes before we headed back to good ol' Nanjemoy to pick up our kids. We went and got Harley and Derek from his parents and went home. Josh fried up some soft shell crabs and we all crashed!

Sunday morning I got to sleep in! Those morning's don't happen very often so when they due, they are MUCH APPRECIATED!!! J went to Gray's Store and took Harley and Derek with him. He put Melissa in bed with me. Melissa and I just laid there watching TV. When J got home with the kids, I went outside to clean their little pool and started to fill it up! I got the kids bathing suits on and we stayed outside all day yesterday. I finally got the kids inside around 8:30 last night. I gave them their baths and then to bed they went. I folded two loads of laundry and then I got my shower and J and I laid in bed talking. I think I finally fell asleep a little after 11.

So it's Monday morning and here I am at work hating that this is my 5 day work week again!!!! Harley has a soccer clinic tonight so I'm looking forward to that and so is she. I think we all look forward to it. We take go as a family and we sit and watch Harley learn new things and we get to interact with other parents. It's just a nice mix up to our already hectic life! Sorry if this post has bored you but these blogs really are just meant to be like a journal for me. I want to have something to look back on in like 5 years to see what my family was doing at that time. Next month my oldest child will be 5! I can't believe that!
