Ok so last week was Derek's 4th birthday (last tuesday) and last saturday, my baby girl, Melissa Grace, turned the BIG 2!!! Yep my baby is officially growing up on me and I'm not liking that one bit! I took her crib down and she's in the toddler bed (I need to get pictures). She slept GREAT the first night but after that she falls asleep in my bed and I put her in her bed LOL!!!! I had Josh's family and my family over to my house on Saturday night for a spaghetti dinner to celebrate the kids birthdays and to give them their presents. The air was a little thick and there was only one episode between Josh and myself but that was to be expected. We were all able to be there for the kids and make sure the kids had a GREAT TIME! Which they did and of course, they got SPOILED!!! Even Harley got presents too!! Lucky ducks! The kids are having another birthday party this sunday (2-27-11) at the Bowling Alley on base at Indian Head. This is for all of our friends and there's to come too!!!! So looking forward to that!
This will be my first weekend without my kids since my split from Josh. I've been doing really good. I had my small group last night to go too. I really enjoy going there and I always feel like I leave with a little something from it. I don't know how to pinpoint what the feeling is but whatever it is, it's GREAT! Thanks Mandi!!!! Also I've got Magnum at home who keeps me JUST AS BUSY AS THE KIDS!!!! He has his own toy basket in the living room and he pulls all of his toys out just like the kids. LOL!! So with me having some free time on my hands I'm able to really pay attention to him and I've started obiedience training with him!!!!
