Thank goodness today is my FRIDAY!!! Gotta love working for the government and being able to work compress work schedules. I work 9 hour days so I get every other Friday off!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!
Tonight is Harley's 1st real soccer practice and she's so excited!!! She has participated for the past 3 Monday's a soccer clinic and she has only improved each time!!! Tonight she'll meet her coaches and her other team members!!! Her team is called "Thunder Cats"!!! She thinks that is just so funny! Gosh I love that little girl!!!
I'm SOO tired today!! I have drank two cups of coffee to try and get me energized but it's just not working. So far my weekend looks to be slow which is a good thing b/c the past couple weekends seem to have been real busy. I know I'll be spending some time in my yard!! With the rain that we have gotten lately, my grass has grown so much and it irritates me to look at it!!! I love having a yard that is alway's cut and even, I think a "fresh" yard makes your house look even nicer, LOL. I'm seriously OCD when it comes to my yard!!!! Poor Josh, everytime he cuts the grass I critize the way he does it!! He can weed eat b/c I HATE doing that!!! Well I hope you all have a GREAT WEEKEND!!!

What a nasty day..........
Happy Wednesday everyone!!!! It's the middle of the week and tomorrow is MY FRIDAY!!! I'm so excited to sleep in!!! My kids have been with their grandparents for the past two nights and I miss them terribly!!! I'm so ready to go home and have my kids back!!! Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a night just to lay back with Josh and do absolutely nothing but when the next night rolls around, I alway's feel like I'm missing out on something and the house is WAY TO QUIET and EMPTY without them there!
Last night I went to my church's co-ed softball practice! I had such a fun time and I actually didn't do as bad as I thought I was going to do. The last time I played softball was well over 15 years ago and I sucked BIG TIME back then. Who knows, maybe I've matured as a player, LOL! Needless to say, last night was a awesome time and I truly had a blast playing! I'm so looking forward to next week's practice and what will make it even better is that Josh will be coming out to play too! How exciting is that!!! I'm suppose to take the kids to church tonight for their Wednesday night Fun at Nanjemoy Baptist Church! Tonight's activities is a pool party but with it raining it's butt off, I'm not so sure about that!

I'm really excited for Harley to play and I can't wait to be sitting on the sidelines cheering her on! OH MY WORD, I'm 28 years old and I'm officially a soccer mom, UGH! Leave it to my kids to make me what I always said I wouldn't be!!!! If you see me drive down the road one day in a van, I've totally lost it, LOL. Looks like the next couple of months are going to be busy for my little family! Co-ed softball games are on Tuesday nights and Harley's soccer games will be on Saturday mornings!!! But I'm totally up for the challenge and ready to have a blast!!!!

Another weekend recap
My weekends sure do seem to be FLYING by!!! Let's see, Friday was my 8 hour day at work (I work 9 hour days so every other Friday I have off and on the day's I'm not off I only work 8 hours) which went by pretty quick. I got off and rushed home to get the kids. I was SO READY to begin my weekend. Friday night our good friends Kelly and Lanny came over with their two boys and we just hung out and had a good time! The kids really play well together so they always love it with Levi and Lil Lanny come over. Saturday I had planned on taking the kids over to Calvert County to see my Nanny Deyermond for the day!!!! Got a late start b/c Friday night Harley woke up with a horrible cough and saying her stomach didn't feel good. So we were up for a little bit b/c of that. Derek woke up and came and got into bed with me. Let me tell ya, I just love snuggling with my little man!!!! I enjoy those special mommy/son moments with him. We don't get them very often so when I do, they are cherished! I finally drug myself outta bed made some coffee and started getting the kids ready! I got showered and did mine, Harley, Derek's and Melissa's hair. I also packed the kids overnight bag b/c my Mom and Dad (Gammie and PopPop to the kids) were getting them that night.
We finally arrived over to Prince Fredrick and visited with Nanny. She got on me for getting on my kids. It was cute! Harley sang Big Nanny a song and Derek and Melissa ran around and played. Nanny decided she was hungry and wanted pizza so we went to 5 guys to get some pizza. My mom and my sister were also there so I was following them (b/c I didn't know where I was going) when all of a sudden out from no where I Maryland State Police (MSP) pulled me over. I didn't come to a complete stop! UGH REALLY, I was trying to follow my mom and there was no one around! Whatever, if that makes you feel like a good cop, so be it! After all was said and done, we had a nice visit with my grandmother. I really need to get over there to see her more so I'm going to try VERY HARD to make it a every saturday thing! My mom already goes over there every saturday so I should too!!! Saturday night my parents kept the kids so Josh and I could go to my friend's party that we were invited too. We rode his 78 shovelhead to the party (which we haven't rode the bike in like FOREVER)!! it felt so gret to be out on the bike again. Lanny and Kelly came with us on their bike too!!! We all had a GREAT TIME at Angela's party. But Sunday morning came too quick and before we knew it, it was time to go and pick the kids up from my parent's house. So at 8:00 am Josh and I got up and went to go get the kids. We were asked to go to his grandmother's church for the 11:00 am service so we did. After church we were on our way home and all 3 kids passed out! After we got them home and inside, all of us got dressed into our PJ's and did NOTHING for the rest of the day. We watched movies, played and vegged!!!!!
So all in all my weekend was pretty good with the exception of one minor incident but I can totally overlook that! This coming Friday is my day off and I'm looking forward to possibly taking my kids swimming!!! I'll leave you all with two cute pictures taken with my phone!!!

They all fell asleep as soon as we got into the car from church!
