Melissa and Magnum take 1
This little girl won't leave the poor "pup pup" (as she calls Magnum) alone!!!!
First weekend without my babies :-(
Well my first weekend without my kids went just like I expected it to go, BLAH!!! Since I had the small group at Mandi's house on Thursday night, Josh kept the kids for me and I got them Friday night and took them back to him Saturday morning!!! I missed them like CRAZY!!!!! But my best friend Kristin made sure I wasn't alone. She and her boyfriend Joey insisted that I come and spend the night at their house Saturday night. So I packed Magnum up and we went and had a slumber party with Joey, Kristin and Brinks (their 9mnth old pit pull puppy). Brinks and Magnum quickly (like within a matter of minutes) became BFF's!
Sunday I went to my mom's riding lesson to watch her! Then she, I and Christy went to lunch at Panera!!! I ran over to Petco to get Magnum a kong b/c Joey introduced him to Brink's filled with Peanut Butter and HE LOVED IT!!!! Then I went home, cleaned the toy room, rearranged my bedroom and took a shower and got ready for Derek and Melissa's bday party with friends at the Bowling Alley on base in Indian Head. It went GREAT and the kids came home with more toys!!! Good thing I got rid of some (like 3 trash bags full, lol)
Last night and tonight are my nights with the kids this week and then I'll get them back Friday night for my 3 day weekend with them :-) I know this whole thing is going to take some time to adjust too and I know it's for the best but I still don't like it!!! Josh and I are being nice towards one another for the kids sake, which is the way it's suppose to be. I'm also HAPPY with my life too!!!! I really haven't been for awhile and to have this feeling, it's pretty great!!!! I'm just really blessed to have Friends and Family support me. I really didn't realize the amount of people that truly cared for me until now and I can tell you one thing, it really has taken my breath away!!!! I went from feeling alone to having people who care about me and it really is amazing!!! I just want all of you to know that I really love you all and I'm so thankful that your in my life!!!!
I really can't wait till the weather stay's NICE OUTSIDE!!!!!! I hate being cooped up in the house. I'd love to get together with some of you mommies for a play date with the kids!!!! Ok well here's 3 pics I took of the kids Saturday morning before they had to go to their daddy's house!
