My baby is officially in Elementary School

Where has the time gone???? Can I PLEASE hit the pause button so I can enjoy all of my babies just a little bit more, PLEASEEEEEE. I still can't believe that I have a child in school. Am I really that old!!!!! Well Harley started Kindergarden Tuesday. Monday night she was soo excited to go to school. I got her up Tuesday morning, and knew something was up b/c she was dragging to get out of bed and didn't look good. She told me her tummy was hurting. Oh no, so I tried to give her something to eat but she wasn't hungry. So I got everyone dressed, teeth brushed, hair done and out the door we went to Grammy's house (Josh's mom) to catch the bus. Josh took off work in the morning to see her on the bus. We both had already decided that we were going to follow the bus to school to make sure she got off ok! Yes, we were those parents! It's a good thing we did b/c when the assistant got on the bus, she came right back off stating she had a sick kid. I just knew it was my Harley so I took off running! Yep, it was my baby. Josh and I got her off and cleaned her up (Thank Heavens her clothes were not messed up) and asked her if she wanted to stay or go home. She wanted to stay! So we took her inside to her class. Josh met her teacher and then told Harley goodbye! Me I stayed a little bit longer. I was so worried about my girl. I think her teachers realized how apprehensive I was about leaving so they reassured me that they would keep an eye on her and the one teacher took my cell # down to text me at lunch time to give me an update! Which she did and reported that Harley felt a lot better! WHEW!!!!

I was so happy to see a smiling kid get off the bus that afternoon! Definitely a different kid then in the morning. She had a GREAT first day of Kindergarden. I had wrote her a note and put it in her lunch box. She told me that she was the only one who had a note and she memorized the note. Told me EXACTLY what the note said without reading it! That definitely made my day! She got up Tuesday morning and was ready to get going! Before we left the house, she opened up her lunch box to make sure that I had another note in there waiting for her! I love that little girl! Yep, tearing up as I type this, ugh I'm such a sap!!!

Hope everyone made out from Irene! Josh had the kids when Irene hit and they were all fine! Kristin and I had some Irene fun, lol! Well I hope everyone is well. Sorry it's been sooo long since I've updated!!!!
